This is an excerpt from the research I did. My thesis title was: “Who Born Soldier? Country Woman! Who Born Minister? Congo Woman!”This portion is the conclusion:
Liberians have learned the hard-hitting way that: guns, ammunitions, give them more mortars, are not the tangible solutions of revoking a leader or building a democracy nation. I am a Liberian, and it is my hope, that this country that was once small America (as parents have said) in Africa would not become a warzone again. It is my hope that this country that was once paradise in this hot, humid part of Africa would enjoy a long lasting peace. The Liberia that was un-Liberia fourteen years ago, I speculate would not be the Liberia five years from now. The time for Liberians to ameliorate the beliefs that they ought to have has approached. Peace has come to Liberia. And I am optimistic that that “Peace” has come to stay for good.
